Why I love him: right now

1. He's eating over salted popcorn that he air popped himself. He tried to teach me how to make it, even though he knows I will never make it, unless he is physically incapable.

2. He loves his daughters so much. I knew he loved Ella the first time we met. Seeing him with our daughter makes my heart want to explode. He is an amazing father.

3. He used to buy grape soda just for me. Now I buy grape juice just for him. (I'm not drinking that nasty stuff).

Love Part 3: Living with the crazies

Just so you all don't think I am full of poo, here are a few things that drive me bonkers about my better half.

1. He runs the garbage disposal for too long.
2. He over salts. But, in his defense, I under salt. I grew up being told salt was evil.
3. He recently (about 5 minutes ago) tickled me until I almost peed (he knew I had to go) then chased me all the way into the bathroom and shoved his wang in my face while I was peeing. Geez Louise.
4. He pauses the tv when I talk (but I guess I should stop talking while he's watching tv)
5. He's perfect. Why does he have to be so perfect?

Love Part 2

During the first weekend I spent with my sweet husband, he gave me a key. I never gave it back. For the longest time he didn't even have a key to his own home. His mom had one and I had one. Good thing he knew he wanted to marry me after our first date.

After a few weekends here with him (probably around the beginning of September - because I only came to visit every other weekend) he gave me my own drawer. A place where I could keep a few things. I suppose he felt obligated since he kept finding my panties in the laundry.

I was so smitten with him. He was all I could think about. He was funny. He was sexy. He made me feel good about myself and great about the world we lived in. Life with him was easy. We didn't fight, we just loved. We cuddled, hugged, kissed, made love, every bit of what a perfect life should be....And, guess what, we still do. Our life is still perfect from the top of our heads to the tippy tips of our pinky toes we are still in love and life is still perfect.

alternate title: Love Part One

I guess my last post should have had an alternate title since it ended up being mostly pictures from Ken and Anna Eason's wedding 2 years ago. Oh well. Here is the story of how we fell in love. Part One.

After the wedding Prince C and I both returned home - him to Lexington and me to Franklin. I am not sure who "friended" who on facebook but, we became friends on facebook (along with many other folks that we all met at the destination wedding). Sidenote: I wonder how many relationships facebook has helped along and in turn how many facebook has hurt. I was having some issues in my life then and for whatever reason - I felt like reaching out to him about them. Just for an ear, an ear who knew nothing about me except what was published on FB and that I owned a revealing blue dress. So, I shot an email. It took a couple days for him to get back to me. When he did - he didn't say much. He let me know, since I was such a pretty girl he was sure I would land on my feet. Just to give it time. Ha, land on my feet.

Over the next few days we started using the chat feature on facebook. Imagine if you will: me, wine, cheese, my dogs, and my laptop. That is how I spent my evenings during the summer of '08. Then our phone numbers were exchanged. Holy Hell the text messaging. Finally we made plans to have lunch. Plans for Monday July 28th. I needed to be in Lexington for work, so we thought, we'll grab some lunch and have an official meeting.

We kept texting. Texting all day and messaging on facebook all night. Sometimes both. We decided we couldn't wait. Plans changed. We met for lunch in Louisville instead, on the 22nd. A 5 hour lunch that involved 2 restaurants, kissing hello, holding hands, sitting way to close to each other, and eventually lots of kissing. WOW. I was totally enamored with him. Handsome, kind, a good listener, a good talker, we had so much in common. When I got home that night I decided, I wanted him to be a part of my life. Even if it were just as friends.

Our lunch plan for the 28th became all weekend plans. I would drive down on Saturday after a birthday party shoot I had scheduled. I should be done by 4. My family was going to have a cookout for me because my birthday had been the week before. I invited him along. He invited me to stay. Then those plans became, "I'm bored, I'm driving up to see you tonight, I can't wait until tomorrow".

So there you have it. History all written out. July 11th 2008 my life changed forever, my husband started flirting with me. Or as he calls it, "you stalked me".

My Husband

is the most fun person I know. We have the best time together. Well, I suppose I shouldn't speak for him -- but I have the best time with him. No matter what we are doing we are enjoying it.

Two years ago this week we met. My cousin Kenneth got married and we both attended the wedding. We didn't know each other at all, nor did we spend time together at or around the
wedding. We met briefly at the reception and that was that. I am not sure I have ever told the story...not that there is much to tell.

I was there to video Kenneth and Anna Eason's wedding.
Really, I made my dad video and I took pictures. Why on earth would I want to take video? I mean, seriously...I have a love affair with freezing time.

During the wedding a nasty rainstorm rolled in. We were all anxiously wondering what would happen....

It started to POUR right as the preacher said "You may kiss the bride". So they did just that, kissed...

and got inside as quickly as possible!

I, on the other hand didn't get in nearly as quickly. So I looked like a drowned rat.

Somehow, even looking this way my husband noticed me....or my boobs, you decide. Haha. My Aunt Jackie introduced us that night. We just said hello and walked away. Two and a half weeks later we went on our first date. And the rest....as they say, is history.

Our willy conversations....aka - all night willy chats.

See Free Willy Post.

Then we were looking at my friend Jonsie's Facebook page and she had a gun of some sort that was all decked out with her name and all different color polka dots....

It said:
Attn: ED folks
several people asked me about getting these monogrammed, personalized, etc. $12--you can pretty much get whatever you want on it--see me.

Prince C: what's ED folks?
Frootie!: uh - Emergency Department.
Prince C: OMG, that is not at all what I was thinking.
Frootie!: It's a gun for your willy. Free willy like the whale!

Oh Geez. There is something wrong with us.
